About this role

Summary:

The Manager, Sales Operations helps drive the ideation, planning, and execution of sales-driving initiatives. This role partners closely with Supply Chain to keep inventory levels aligned with sales and promotional activity, conducts market research and monitors industry trends to generate ideas for promotions and revenue-driving programs, and supports the ideation of enrollment incentives, spot promotions, and other initiatives that grow revenue. Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, this role casts a wide net for ideas and market insights, then partners with leadership to narrow, prioritize, and operationalize the most promising concepts. The ideal candidate combines strong research and analytical instincts with the operational follow-through to bring ideas to life.

Essential Functions:

- Partner with Supply Chain to monitor and forecast product demand tied to promotions and enrollment incentives, helping ensure inventory levels stay aligned with anticipated sales volume.

- Conduct ongoing market research and monitor industry and direct-sales/MLM trends to generate ideas for promotions, incentives, and revenue-driving initiatives; cast a wide net of ideas for leadership to evaluate and narrow.

- Support the ideation, development, and evaluation of enrollment incentives, spot promotions, and other revenue-driving programs, partnering with sales leadership to prioritize and refine concepts.

- Assist with day-to-day sales operations, including tracking promotion performance, maintaining sales tools, and supporting process documentation and best practices.

- Analyze sales and promotion data to evaluate the effectiveness of past initiatives and translate findings into recommendations for future promotions.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to support execution and ensure accurate data flow across systems.

- Help maintain sales performance reports and dashboards to provide sales leadership visibility into KPIs.

- Support the sales forecasting process by gathering and synthesizing input from sales teams, systems, and market research.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market trends and data into actionable promotion and incentive ideas.

- Creative, curious mindset paired with the operational rigor to execute on ideas.

- Effective communicator able to collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.

- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), reporting tools, and Excel.

- Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with a process-focused approach and a drive for continuous improvement.

Preferred Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, marketing operations, or sales support, preferably within an MLM or direct sales environment.

- Experience with sales/promotion process documentation, CRM administration, and reporting tools.

Required Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree or a combination of relevant education and experience.

- 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, marketing, analytics, or sales support roles.

- Familiarity with CRM systems, performance reporting, and market research methods.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, and photocopiers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Employees are also expected to work at least one non-convention farm event a year and to work at the annual company convention. Exact hour requirements can be reasonably modified as necessary for the business needs by the employee’s manager.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
