What are we looking for?

The Equipment Technician I is responsible for managing and tracking of electrical and mechanical test equipment.

Shift/Schedule: 1st shift, M-F.

What you’ll do:

- Transfer Equipment.
- Operate equipment.
- Maintain equipment and facilities.
- Maintain equipment calibration status.
- Perform basic analysis of test data and routine calculations.
- Prepare equipment for travel (i.e. for travel in a vehicle or by air).
- Research new equipment and vendors.
- Work with existing vendors to obtain quotes and purchase services and products.
- Perform other work as required.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- No experience is required - will train
- Ability to utilize basic shop equipment and various hand tools
- Ability to review, understand, and convey technical information in an effective manner
- Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional variables
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written formats
- Microsoft Office software expertise, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record is required.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

- 1+ years of related equipment experience
