What are we looking for?

The Senior Technical Specialist - Client Site NEBS Testing is responsible for reviewing test plans, witnessing NEBS and SmartGrid testing performed by the client, reviewing test data, writing reports, and communicating relevant information among all necessary parties. This position will travel initially to the Lexington, Kentucky site for onboarding and training, with potential occasional travel to Lexington.

Shift/Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $125,000 - $132,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you’ll do:

- Work directly with client performing testing at their facility.
- Review client test plans for full scope and applicability of testing.
- Witness NEBS and SmartGrid testing.
- Review test data gathered by client during testing.
- Write test reports for testing performed at client site.
- Communicate all necessary project information between Intertek-Lexington and the client.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, OR the equivalent in terms of education / experience / training
- A valid driver's license and reliable driving record
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate up to 25%
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
- Must be customer focused and quality driven

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

- 4+ years experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment
