Dishwasher

Overview
We are looking for a part-time, afternoon/evening dishwasher to join our Los Angeles team! The dishwasher is responsible for making sure all dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, and other equipment is kept clean and sanitized. This includes making sure the floors are swept and mopped, and the walls, shelves, storage areas and walk-ins are kept clean and organized. All staff should be focused on and demonstrate a guest-centric attitude and culture. In addition to maintaining our vision by adhering to our values and standards, this position must provide the highest level of service to our guests.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.

- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

- Sweep and mop floors as needed throughout the shift.

- Make sure trash cans are emptied as needed, and trash cans kept clean.

- Assist cooks and prep cooks when necessary.

- Clean stoves, ovens, fryers, and all kitchen equipment.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

- Servsafe certified.

- 1-2 years relevant work experience.

- Ability to work quickly and cleanly while still maintaining standards.

- Must work well independently and as part of the team.

- Ability to multitask and adapt to the ever-changing climate.

- Works well under pressure.

- Passion for good food and quality customer experiences.

- Excellent communication and organization skills.

- Must be able to legally work in the United States.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

- Able to work 8+ hour shifts while standing or walking for extended periods of time.

- Able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Able to grasp, lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

- Able to maneuver effectively around the kitchen, restaurant office, and up/downstairs.
