As an Independent Living Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll start at, $21.00, with a 15% shift differential. All hours worked between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM and any hours worked on Saturday or Sunday earn a shift differential of 15% of your hourly rate! At $21.00, your shift differential would be $3.15 per hour, for a total hourly rate of $24.15! As a Noc Shift DSP, the majority of your hours will include the shift differential.
What do Independent Living Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) do?
As a Direct Support Professional with MVA's Supported Living Program, you will provide thoughtful, person-centered support that empowers adults with disabilities to live their best lives. Each day is different and may include grocery shopping, paying bills, advocating at doctor's appointments, providing toileting assistance, or helping someone get in or out of a shower. We take pride in helping the people we support remain in their own homes as independently and for as long as possible. That means listening, building trust, honoring each person's choices, and offering the support they need to work toward their goals.
