The Service Contracts Operations Manager is a key leader within Customer Services, responsible for directing daily operations, ensuring compliance with contract and audit policies, and driving alignment to organizational goals. This role combines people leadership—hiring, developing, and motivating talent—with operational oversight, including setting KPIs, managing fiscal close activities, and maintaining contract governance. By partnering cross-functionally, streamlining processes, and interfacing with senior leadership, the Manager ensures operational integrity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across the service contracts business.

Your role:

- Assist the director in achieving organizational objectives, supporting team morale, and balancing business and team needs by removing barriers and escalating issues as needed.
- Lead and develop the team through workflow guidance, problem solving, goal planning, hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback, and retention of strong talent.
- Ensure operational and compliance excellence by overseeing SOX controls, audit support, contract review and execution, fiscal close activities, KPI tracking, and adherence to contract policies.
- Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration by partnering with business stakeholders, streamlining processes, supporting ongoing training, and addressing complex issues with senior leadership.

- 4+ years in Customer Service Operations; 2+ years in people leadership
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Science, Architecture, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
- Proven operations leader with strong experience in contract management, compliance, and financial oversight, driving operational excellence, KPIs, and business results.
- Skilled at building, motivating, and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments, with sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and a strong focus on customer experience.
- Strong communicator and relationship-builder with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills; proficient in MS Office, with CRM/SAP/Salesforce experience preferred.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $90,000 to $143,000

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found here .

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
