Sr. Associate, Store Communications

About the Role

Total Wine & More is seeking a Sr. Associate, Store Communications to support clear, timely communication for store teams and field leaders. This role helps manage key communication channels, draft and update store-facing content, and coordinate communication deliverables that are organized, accurate, and aligned to business priorities. You will partner closely with the Store Communications team, Store Operations, and cross-functional partners to ensure messages are easy to understand, actionable, and consistent across channels. Please note this is not a remote work opportunity. You will report to the Manager, Store Communications.

You will

- Manage day-to-day updates for store communication channels, including SharePoint pages, newsletters, recognition pages, and other communication tools.
- Draft, edit, and update communication materials that are clear, accurate, and actionable for store teams.
- Keep field-facing and SSC-facing content current, organized, and aligned to communication standards.
- Coordinate with Store Operations, Training, HR, Marketing, and other SSC teams to gather information, clarify details, and prepare communication deliverables.
- Support communication programs, recognition initiatives, and seasonal campaigns, including Grapevine Greats and Making Spirits Bright.
- Maintain communication calendars, request trackers, project timelines, and content review processes.
- Review store-facing content for grammar, formatting, consistency, and clarity before publishing or routing for approval.
- Assist with communication intake and task tracking to support organized SSC-to-store communication.

You will come with

- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- 1-4 years of experience in communications, retail operations, marketing, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clearly for different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, proofreading skills, and commitment to accurate, polished work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and communication deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and service-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn communication tools and platforms, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, and basic content management tools.
- Basic design sensibility; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, apply feedback, and continue building communication and project coordination skills.
- Availability to work some nights and weekends, if necessary, to meet business deadlines.
