Job Title: Grounds Landscaping Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $19-$22/hour, based on experience
Job Status: 12 Month Year, benefits eligible
Hours: 40 hours/week, with potential for weekend/evening shifts as needed, overtime paid at 1.5x
Primary Purpose/Job Summary:
The Grounds Landscaping Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of all Brophy owned grounds. This role involves performing landscaping, and general outdoor maintenance to ensure a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
- Mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding all turf and landscape areas.
- Performing pruning and planting of trees and shrubs.
- Maintaining irrigation systems, including sprinkler repair and replacement.
- Regular collection and disposal of campus waste and recyclables.
- Assisting with the setup and tear-down of equipment for campus events.
- Cleaning and maintaining outdoor hardscapes, including sidewalks and parking areas.
- Monitoring inventory of groundskeeping tools and supplies.
- Coordinating with the facilities team on campus projects.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Qualifications
Requisite qualifications include:
- Experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery and hand tools safely.
- Ability to maintain and drive landscaping machinery and equipment.
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work on varied terrain.
- Punctuality, self-motivation, and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to read safety labels and instructions in English.
- Must pass E-Verify and a criminal background check.
