Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Management Analyst/Principal Project Management Analyst to lead day-to-day supply chain and subcontract execution activities supporting the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) and Program Management Office (PMO) business units for the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program.

This position will be located in Roy, Utah , and will report to the Global Supply Chain Program Manager (GSC PM). Regular in-office attendance is required; hybrid and telework arrangements are not available at this time.

What You’ll Get to Do:

- Support Global Supply Chain (GSC) activities throughout all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP) as they relate to the business units’ scope.
- Promote consistency in processes across all GSC disciplines.
- Lead cross-functional GSC coordination among key Engineering, Logistics, Mission Assurance, Quality, Program, and Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Apply critical thinking and synthesize information to develop solutions to complex problems, escalating process and performance challenges to the GSC PM as necessary.
- Support the GSC PM in meetings.
- Assist the GSC PM with process definition and improvement.
- Assist the GSC PM in developing, facilitating, and delivering training to key Program, Engineering, and GSC personnel.
- Establish priorities in coordination with the Procurement and Planning teams.
- Help align subcontract support and resources with project requirements.
- Drive accountability among Program and GSC personnel throughout the acquisition process.
- Acquire, organize, and standardize key subcontractor and supplier information for the segment.
- Develop and present accurate program-level leadership briefings focused on parts status and critical program milestones.
- Perform recurring financial forecasting, use the material requirements planning (MRP) system to track and drive requirements fulfillment, and maintain the approved supplier list.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

This requisition may be filled at either the Project Management Analyst or Principal Project Management Analyst level:

Project Management Analyst

- Two years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or no related experience with a master’s degree. Four additional years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- An interim U.S. Government Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of application. The clearance must be current and within scope. The selected candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, execution, and closeout.
- Two years of experience developing DoD contracting strategies, creating supporting materials, and delivering briefings.

Principal Project Management Analyst

- Five years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; three years with a master’s degree; or one year with a Ph.D. Four additional years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- An interim U.S. Government Department of Defense Secret security clearance at the time of application. The clearance must be current and within scope. The selected candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, execution, and closeout.
- Three years of experience developing DoD contracting strategies, creating supporting materials, and delivering briefings.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

The following qualifications are preferred for both levels:

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Active U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and with external organizations.
- Experience developing strategy, roadmap, and vision artifacts.
- Demonstrated experience using the SAP enterprise system, Microsoft Windows-based software, the Atlassian tool suite, and other electronic databases.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
