What Youll Do
- Administer Medications: Safely provide medications according to physician orders and residents care plans.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document medication administration clearly and correctly.
- Monitor Well-Being: Observe residents for changes, side effects, or concerns and report them promptly.
- Support Daily Living: Assist residents with personal needs while protecting their dignity and independence.
- Build Connections: Develop meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Create a Positive Environment: Bring compassion, patience, and positive energy to each shift.
What Youll Bring
- Required Credentials: Meet all Nebraska certification, training, and registry requirements for Medication Aides.
- Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Follow medication procedures carefully and maintain accurate documentation.
- Basic Computer Skills: Use electronic systems for medication tracking and documentation.
- Heart for Seniors: Have a genuine interest in helping older adults live their best lives.
- Dependability: Be available to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
