The opportunity to join our team

We’re looking for a Senior Custody and Investment Specialist to join our Fund Accounting and Operations team and play a key role in overseeing the services that safeguard our clients’ investments. In this role, you’ll manage relationships with custody and registry providers, monitor service performance, and ensure obligations under contractual and service level agreements are met. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve operational issues, support governance and reporting activities, and drive positive member outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic transformation initiatives, including custodian transitions and the evolution of our future operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor custody and registry provider performance against agreed service levels and KPIs

- Manage relationships with key custody, registry, and internal stakeholders

- Escalate and resolve critical operational issues to minimise member and fund impacts

- Coordinate account and market opening requirements with internal and external partners

- Support governance, oversight, and service provider reporting activities

- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory obligations

- Contribute to custodian and registry tender and selection processes

- Support and co-ordinate the transition of assets and restructure activities

- Assist in designing and implementing the future custody and registry operating model

- Identify and manage operational, service, and change-related risks

What you will bring:

- Proven experience in custody, funds management, investment operations, or financial markets

- Strong knowledge of custody and registry services and related operational processes

- Experience managing service providers and monitoring SLA and KPI performance

- Exposure to custody transitions, implementations, or transformation initiatives

- Sound understanding of settlements, instruction requirements, tax reclaims, legal, and operational service frameworks

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues

- Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

- A proactive approach to risk management, governance, and continuous improvement
