What You Can Expect:

- M-F Days 8-hour shift 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Boise work location

Under limited/moderate supervision, the Locksmith Sr installs, repairs and maintains key control and locking devices and systems.
- Responds to emergency and non-emergency service calls and lock requests; schedules work requests by priority.
- Installs and repairs locking devices; assembles and disassembles mechanical and electrical hardware; maintains, troubleshoots and repairs access control hardware, door closures and low-energy electro-mechanical operators; interprets blueprints for new construction installations.
- Uses web-based system to document work order requests and status.
- Maintains web-based master key system; documents all lock changes.
- Maintains inventory records for hardware; maintains records of customer requests, work or services performed, billing charges and expenses; ensures changes are billed to departments appropriately; confers with customers or supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
- Cuts new and duplicate keys.
- Assists in the selection of security hardware.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience: 2 years relevant experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Driver’s License and proof of driver’s insurance

This role is subject to St. Luke's driving policy, which requires individuals in this role to not have a record of certain driving-related offenses within the past three (3) years, including but not limited to: Suspension of License , Driving Under the Influence, Reckless or Negligent Driving...

If hired, St. Luke's will conduct a driving records check upon hire and continuously thereafter for individuals hired into this role. Individuals will be required to maintain a valid, current driver's license.
