A PART TIME PRICE TAGGER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Price Tagger gets accepted consignment items floor-ready. This role tags, preps, and processes women's luxury and designer fashion accurately and on time so the sales floor stays full, fresh, and correctly priced. The Price Tagger works closely with the Intake and Pricing team and store leadership to keep product moving from back of house to the floor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Attach price tags to accepted consignment items using the store's consignment/POS system, making sure brand, size, description, price, and consignor information match the approved pricing.

- Double-check tags for accuracy before items go to the floor; flag errors or missing information to the Pricing Specialist or store leadership.

- Inspect items for stains, damage, odors, or missing parts during processing and set aside anything that does not meet quality standards.

- Steam, lint-roll, and prep garments; hang on correct hangers and apply sizers, security tags, and protective packaging as needed.

- Handle designer and luxury items (handbags, shoes, jewelry, accessories) with care and follow store procedures for high-value and locked-case merchandise.

- Sort and stage tagged product by category, size, and color for merchandising and floor replenishment.

- Help restock and merchandise the sales floor to company visual standards.

- Support markdown and pull processes, including re-tagging, color-tag rotation, and pulling aged or expired consignment items per the consignment agreement timeline.

- Keep the back-of-house processing area clean, organized, and safe.

- Meet daily processing goals set by store leadership while keeping accuracy high.

- Deliver friendly, helpful service to customers and consignors when working on or near the sales floor.

- Follow all company policies, loss prevention procedures, and safety guidelines.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Able to work at a steady pace and hit daily goals.

- Basic computer skills; comfortable learning POS and tag-printing systems.

- Good organization and time management.

- Works well independently and as part of a team.

- Clear, friendly communication.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Stand and walk for extended periods, up to an entire shift.

- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, and use hands for repetitive tasks such as tagging, hanging, and steaming.

- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

- Use a ladder or step stool to reach high racks and shelving.

- Work around garment steamers and cleaning products using proper safety procedures.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Retail, resale, or stockroom experience preferred; will train the right person.

- Interest in fashion and familiarity with designer and luxury brands a plus.

- Must be 16+ years of age or older.

- Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
