Job Title: Workplace Experience Coordinator - Level 1 Job Description The Workplace Experience Coordinator - Level 1 delivers a world-class customer service experience to employees and guests within a designated office building. This role serves as the first point of contact at the facility, ensuring a welcoming, professional, and efficient workplace environment. The coordinator supports front-of-house operations, workplace services, events, and vendor coordination while following established procedures and security protocols. Responsibilities

- Serve as the first point of contact for everyone entering the facility, greeting employees, visitors, and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Issue visitor badges and parking passes while strictly following security protocols and access procedures.
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional manner and create a positive first impression for callers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and communicate clearly with groups of various sizes as needed.
- Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities on behalf of internal requestors.
- Create, submit, and manage janitorial and maintenance work orders to ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Coordinate and execute workplace services including mail handling, office supply services, and onboarding-related support for new employees.
- Acknowledge inquiries and complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers and provide timely, customer servicefocused solutions.
- Organize and manage on-site events, including securing event space, coordinating logistics, setting up rooms, arranging furniture and equipment, and performing tear down and clean up after events.
- Ensure event materials, supplies, and equipment are delivered and available on time for meetings and activities.
- Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures and promptly notify appropriate parties to help ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.
- Coordinate with external vendors who provide services or goods to the workplace, ensuring smooth delivery and service quality.
- Explain detailed and sometimes complex information clearly to team members and stakeholders.
- Follow specific directions and established procedures provided by the manager and adhere to defined workflows and standards.
- Use existing procedures and guidelines to solve straightforward problems, escalating issues when necessary.
- Support general administrative and office services tasks as required to maintain an efficient and professional workplace.

Essential Skills

- High School Diploma or GED.
- 02 years of job-related experience in customer service, administrative support, or a similar office-based role.
- Ability to follow basic work routines, standards, and established procedures consistently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to exchange straightforward information clearly and professionally.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment.
- An inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn and understand workplace processes, policies, and services.
- Comfort interacting with a wide range of employees, guests, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Ability to comply with workplace policies, security protocols, and property-specific procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience providing front-of-house or reception services in a corporate or professional environment.
- Expereince in administrative support, office coordination, or workplace experience functions.
- Familiarity with policy compliance and adherence to corporate standards and procedures.
- Strong people skills and a customer service orientation when interacting with employees and visitors.
- Experience coordinating events, meetings, or activities within an office setting.
- Interest in growing into a longer-term or permanent workplace experience or office services role.

Work Environment This role is based fully on-site at a professional office building located at 155 North Wacker Drive in Chicago. The position follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., supporting daytime office operations and workplace services. You will work in a modern corporate environment that emphasizes world-class customer service for employees and visitors. The role involves regular use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as office equipment and workplace systems related to mail, supplies, and facility requests. The assignment is initially a 2-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a longer-term or permanent opportunity, depending on business needs and performance. The work environment includes regular interaction with building occupants, guests, and vendors, and requires adherence to building security and emergency procedures at all times.

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
