St Bartholomew's Primary Academy has a strong community ethos and aims to provide children with a wide range of opportunities to learn, grow and flourish. The school is part of the Diocese of Salisbury Academy Trust and serves pupils aged 2-11 in Royal Wootton Bassett.

Teaching Assistant (KS1)

Are you passionate about helping children thrive? Do you enjoy working as part of a supportive and dedicated team? If so, St Bartholomew's Primary Academy is looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to support learning within our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a welcoming and successful primary academy where children are at the heart of everything we do. Working alongside class teachers and support staff, you will play an important role in helping pupils achieve their potential, develop confidence and enjoy their learning journey.

You will:

• Support teaching and learning within a classroom.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support children with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Contribute to pupils' wellbeing, progress and personal development.

• Has experience of working with primary-aged children.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, nurturing and enthusiastic.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Has high expectations for children's achievement and behaviour.
