Early Years Practitioner

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours of work: Full time preferred but there is some flexibility for the right person

Puddleducks Nursery & Pre-School is part of King Alfred Trust, along with Pewsey Primary School and King’s Gate Primary School and provides childcare all year round from 8am – 6pm

All about the role:

We are looking to appoint a qualified Early Years practitioner who is experienced, friendly, creative, flexible, committed, hard working and has a good sense of humour to be a key member of our team. You will deliver fun, age appropriate activities to ensure a safe environment is maintained for all the children.

We are seeking to employ someone who is:

• A qualified level 2 or 3 practitioner
• Is a great communicator, friendly and approachable
• Is able to use their initiative to ensure the children have age appropriate activities to keep them stimulated and improve them developmentally according to the Early Years Framework.
• Is able to work with others as a team and share roles within the room they are working in.
• Ensures a safe environment to safeguard the children.
