Job Description: Manager - Accounts, Audit & Taxation (SAP & Tally)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accounts, Audit & Taxation professional with 8-12 years of experience to manage accounting operations, statutory compliance, audits, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with SAP and Tally ERP , along with sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Financial Reporting

- Manage end-to-end accounting activities including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

SAP & Tally Operations

- Handle accounting transactions and reporting through SAP and Tally ERP.
- Ensure accurate posting of journal entries, vendor payments, customer receipts, and reconciliations.
- Support ERP process improvements and data integrity.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for system-related accounting requirements.

Audit & Internal Controls

- Coordinate and manage statutory, internal, tax, and cost audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and responses to auditor queries.
- Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Identify process gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Taxation & Compliance

- Manage GST compliance including return filing, reconciliations, and assessments.
- Handle TDS compliance, return filing, and quarterly reporting.
- Coordinate direct tax matters including advance tax, income tax assessments, and notices.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities as required.

Team & Stakeholder Management

- Lead and guide accounting team members.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and internal departments.
- Support management with financial analysis and decision-making inputs.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- CA Qualified.

Experience & Skills

- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Accounts, Audit, and Taxation.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP and Tally ERP .
- Experience in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience in handling audits independently.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Industry Exposure

- Manufacturing, EPC, Infrastructure, Energy, Oil & Gas, or Process Industries.
- Experience in handling multi-location accounting and compliance activities will be preferred.
