On behalf of LCCC , we are looking for a Strategic Advisory Consultant (Outside IR35) for a 6 month (part time - 2/3 days per week) contract based in London .

Description:

LCCC is seeking an experienced Strategic Advisory Consultant to provide independent specialist expertise across government engagement, corporate strategy, strategic risk management , and organisational positioning.

This engagement has been established to provide additional strategic capability and specialist insight to support key organisational priorities. The consultant will deliver independent advice, recommendations, challenge , and strategic outputs to enhance decision making, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and support the successful delivery of priority initiatives .

As a Strategic Advisory Consultant , your main responsibilities will be:

- Provide independent strategic advice to support engagement with key government stakeholders, including DESNZ, HM Treasury, Cabinet Office, and other relevant public sector bodies.
- Provide senior-level independent advice to support strategic decision making across the organisation.
- Provide specialist insight to strengthen the organisation's approach to strategic and principal risk management .
- Provide flexible advisory support to strategic programmes and organisational priorities, including Project Seahorse should the requirement arise.

Essential:

- Significant experience providing strategic advisory or consultancy services to public sector organisations, government departments, Boards, or executive teams.
- Strong understanding of UK Government structures and policy development.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across Whitehall departments and public bodies.
- Experience advising on organisational strategy, stakeholder engagement, governance, or public policy.
- Experience supporting strategic risk management and organisational transformation initiatives .
- Ability to operate independently and deliver high-quality advisory outputs.
