Job Description

ABOUT THE CO-OP PROGRAM

Bose Corporation is seeking students to participate in our Co-op Program who share our belief that sound is power. During the six-month co-op, students will have the chance to apply classroom learning in a hands-on work environment. Co-op participants will network across the business to gain diverse perspectives within Bose Corporation. Additionally, co-ops will connect with other students and colleagues, building valuable professional relationships for the future.

Spring Co-op: Candidates must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) in a hybrid, in-office format from January 11 through June 25, 2027. No relocation assistance is available.

Being currently authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position.

Bose has an opportunity for a Co-op in Product Compliance and Safety . This position will be resident in Framingham, Massachusetts. In this position, the Co-op will have the opportunity to drive and coordinate key initiatives related to the safety returns process and play a key role in organizing, documenting, and improving certification processes across global markets. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the quality of Bose consumer products, while learning and working in an innovative and creative environment.

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Facilitate, manage, and engage in key initiatives for the Safety Returns Process, this will include presenting to stakeholders
- Assist with sample management for both the Safety Returns Process and Field Performance Management Process, helping ensure samples are properly tracked, documented, and managed
- Partner with the Certification team on product management activities, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support efforts to document and improve certification processes, including developing an understanding of country-specific certification requirements, renewals, and ongoing product compliance activities
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, documentation, and ways of working across the team

Successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:

- Project management experience in cross-functional environments
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and process improvement.  Including 8D Structured Problem Solving, Six Sigma, Lean principles, or similar problem-solving methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with, or an interest in learning, tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across functions such as engineering, compliance, legal, operations, and quality.
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of assignments in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $22.00-$28.00 per hour.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
