Sr. Strategic Account Technologist - ITeS

<b>Overview</b><br><p>Microsoft’s Enterprise Account Team focuses on partnering with customers to achieve strategic goals. This team is responsible for providing a differentiated Customer experience for our customers, del Win against competition by establishing Microsoft as market leaders, maximizing Customer spend, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption). Delivering solutions that result in targeted business outcomes and driving revenue growth for Microsoft.   </p><div><p>The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) is the technical leader and trusted technology advisor for Microsoft’s customers. This role partners closely with the Account Executive to shape customer technology strategy, drive cloud and AI adoption, and architect secure, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned to government priorities. </p></div><div><p> </p></div><br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><div><div><p><strong>Technology Strategy &amp; Advisory </strong></p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Own the technical relationship with customer CIO, CTO, CDO, CISO, and Enterprise Architects. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Develop and maintain longterm technology roadmaps aligned to customer transformation agendas. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Position Microsoft as the strategic platform of choice across cloud, AI, security, data, and modern work. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Solution Architecture &amp; Envisioning </strong></p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Lead cloud and AI envisioning, architecture design, and technical validation. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Drive adoption of Azure, Copilot, AI services, security, and industry solutions. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Ensure solutions meet compliance, security, and data residency requirements. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Technical Orchestration</strong> </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Act as the technology quarterback, orchestrating internal stakeholders to help the customer.  </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Guide customers through Microsoft’s lifecycle motions: Inspire &amp; Design, Empower &amp; Achieve, Realize Value, Manage &amp; Optimize. </p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Support proofofconcepts, pilots, and technical decision milestones. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Consumption &amp; Value Realization </strong></p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Partner with CSU and customers to accelerate Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) and realized business outcomes. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Drive customer success metrics, adoption health, and value realization. </p></li></ul></div><div><p><strong>Partner &amp; Ecosystem Enablement </strong></p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Provide technical leadership to partners engaged in customer delivery. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Ensure architectures follow Microsoft best practices and standards. </p></li></ul></div></div><br><br><b>Qualifications</b><br><p>Required/minimum qualifications</p><div><div><div><p>Experience </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>10+ years of experience in technical sales, cloud architecture, or enterprise IT. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Strong background in cloud infrastructure, data platforms, security, or AI. </p></li></ul></div><div><p>Skills </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to senior executives. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Strong architecture, problem solving, and design thinking skills. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Experience working across multistakeholder, regulated environments. </p></li></ul></div><div><p>Preferred </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Azure certifications or relevant cloud/architecture credentials. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Experience with government, regulated industries, or critical national infrastructure. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Familiarity with AI, Copilot, cybersecurity, and sovereign cloud models. </p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><p><img style="height: auto; width: auto;" src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAABCAYAAAAfFcSJAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACxjwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAADsMAAA7DAcdvqGQAAAANSURBVBhXY2BgYGAAAAAFAAGKM+MAAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC" alt="Shape"> </p></div></div></div> <br><p>This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.</p><br><hr><br><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
