The LAND6504 ILS/IPS Practitioner will support development of the Delivery Agency’s contribution to the Capability Submission to government.

Role: The ILS/IPS Practitioner will undertake analysis, planning and evaluation tasks and activities to support and contribute to the development of a support systems capable of sustaining the ADFs future MRGBAD solution. The role will require the candidate to the liaise with an extensive stakeholder group across DDG and other defence agencies that includes JCG, SEG and others. Work by the logistics over the period of performance will support the development of support system requirements for the capability.

Develop ILS/FIC acquisition documentation:

• Support concept document

• ILS Plan document

Undertake the facilities assessment with end user and other stakeholder:

• Conduct facilities assessments to determine infrastructure, support equipment, and operational support requirements.

• Develop Estate and Infrastructure Requirements and other supporting documentation for the establishment of the capability.

Evaluate and Assess how Australian industry are to meet delivery requirements for MRGBAD:

• Contribute to the development of sustainment strategies that maximise Australian industry participation where appropriate.

• Assess Australian industry capability and capacity to meet MRGBAD delivery and sustainment requirements.

Sparing analysis need

• Assess recommended spare parts holdings to meet operational viability periods, readiness, and sustainment objectives for .

• Identify supply chain risks and recommend mitigation strategies to support capability availability.

Review mode of transport for the capability, considering military lift (C17), rail, road and sea lift

• Review and assess transportability requirements for the capability across military and commercial transportation modes.

• Assess certification processes for handling, loading and transport of the systems on Australian transport assets

Mandatory requirements:

- Minimum NV1 clearance with ability to obtain NV2. (NV2 Clearance preferred).

- Must be able to work from Brindabella Business Park 5 days per week, CBR location preferred.

- Relevant experience undertaking role responsibilities.

- Minimum 6 years’ experience, preferably within Defence.

- Experience in complex acquisition projects.
