ABOUT THE ROLE

Siemens Healthineers is building the next generation of its global Assurance function — bringing together Audit, Internal Controls, Governance and Enterprise Risk Management into a coherent, future-ready framework. As Senior Expert Assurance Strategy & Innovation, you will be a key architect of this transformation: shaping strategy, driving AI integration and enabling the newly established Assurance Hub in India. Working in close partnership with the Head of Assurance and leadership team, you will act as a strategic thought partner at the intersection of governance excellence and digital innovation.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assurance Strategy & Future Design

- Co-develop and drive the long-term Assurance strategy (Audit and Governance RIC) in close collaboration with the Head of Assurance and Assurance Leadership Team.
- Provide strategic analysis and decision support to the Head of Assurance on cross-Assurance transformation topics.
- Shape forward-looking concepts and frameworks across the entire Assurance spectrum (Audit, IC, Governance, ERM).
- Advance the Combined Assurance approach — further integrating Audit, IC, Governance and ERM into a coherent, holistic framework.
- Build and own the strategic roadmap for AI integration within the Assurance function.
- Develop and implement a global knowledge-transfer concept across all regions (AM, EUR, AMEA, China).
- Act as a sparring partner and Subject Matter Expert in establishing the Internal Controls and Audit function in India (Project Pathfinder).

2. AI & Digital Innovation

- Identify and evaluate AI use cases and prepare structured decision papers for AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and quality within the Assurance function.
- Lead strategic AI pilot projects within the Assurance function and transition successful pilots into scalable, replicable approaches.
- Collaborate with the operational Digi/AI team in Germany — ensuring coherence between AI initiatives and the overarching Assurance vision.

3. Project Management & Coordination

- Lead selected cross-Assurance strategic initiatives on behalf of the Head of Assurance and coordinate implementation across Audit, Internal Controls, Governance and ERM.
- Translate strategic Assurance priorities into structured programmes, milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor strategic Assurance KPIs (e.g. MPA follow-up, RIC Deficiency Trending and Ageing) and derive corrective actions.
- Develop and coordinate the annual global Assurance learning and development programme — including AI competency building across the entire Assurance team, structured Learning Paths aligned to Finance archetypes and cross-team collaboration formats.

- International mindset and intercultural competence — willingness to work in a global hub model (Bangalore) and act as the interface between the India Hub and global leadership.
- Hands-on mentality paired with conceptual strength: equally capable of designing a strategic framework and operationally accompanying its implementation.

Work Experience

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- University degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field; a Master's degree is desirable. A focus in Finance, Accounting or Controlling is an advantage.
- Extensive professional experience in Controlling, Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit and/or Internal Controls — ideally gained at Siemens Healthineers, Siemens AG or within an international corporate environment; experience at a Big 4 audit firm is desirable.
- Sound knowledge in designing and implementing IC frameworks as well as experience with audit standards — ideally at HQ or group level.
- Demonstrated experience in digitalising Assurance processes — in particular in developing and implementing AI-supported tools.
- Experience in global collaboration with international teams and stakeholders across multiple regions (Europe, Americas, AMEA, China).
- Experience and/or certifications in agile project management (e.g. Professional Scrum Master) and/or Data Science are an advantage.
- Fluent English (business proficiency); German language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally — to ensure effective collaboration across global Assurance Hubs and regional teams.
