About this role
The key thing for this role is that we need someone who is genuinely hands-on and comfortable getting into the detail of both the LLD and the actual Azure build , rather than someone operating mainly at architecture/governance level.
Key skills / experience required
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code capability
- Good experience building and supporting Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Azure Front Door , ideally Premium
- Experience with Azure Container Apps
- Strong Azure networking knowledge, including: VNets / subnets
- routing
- ingress / egress
- firewall integration
- private connectivity
- Experience with Azure Firewall and secure network design
- Strong understanding of: Managed Identities
- Azure Key Vault
- RBAC
- secrets / certificate management
- Experience with Azure SQL connectivity and platform integration
- Monitoring / observability experience using Azure-native tooling
- Comfortable designing for: resilience
