The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth is Mastercard’s social impact hub. The Center advances inclusive and sustainable economic growth, small business resilience and financial health through strategic philanthropy, research, impact data science, stakeholder engagement and partnerships. Its work supports Mastercard’s ambition to be a force for good.

About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative and driven Manager, Social Impact, Indonesia to support the implementation and growth of the Center’s social impact portfolio in Indonesia and selected initiatives across Southeast Asia.

The role will manage social impact programs focused on small business growth, financial health, digital inclusion and economic resilience, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to drive impact and strengthen partnerships.

The Manager will partner with Mastercard Indonesia’s leadership and cross-functional teams to align social impact priorities with local needs and relevant business objectives. The role will also build trusted relationships with government, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, fintechs, development partners and other ecosystem stakeholders, while supporting regional collaboration across Southeast Asia.

The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Social Impact, APEMEA, and is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities
• Support implementation and management of the Center’s social impact portfolio in Indonesia, ensuring strategic alignment, effective delivery and measurable results.
• Manage flagship and global programs that support small businesses, women entrepreneurs, workers and underserved communities through access to finance, digital capability, financial health and ecosystem development.
• Collaborate with market teams, grantees and global program leads to share knowledge and strengthen cross-market learning across Southeast Asia.
• Support development of program strategies, implementation plans, budgets, milestones and performance metrics.
• Coordinate monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, translating evidence and impact data into program improvements, communications and recommendations.
• Maintain strong governance, grant administration, risk management and reporting processes.
• Build and manage partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, fintechs, development organizations, civil society and philanthropic partners to advance inclusive growth outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration, co-investment and scale across public, private and philanthropic sectors.
• Partner with Account Management, Business Development, Government Engagement, Communications and other internal teams to align social impact priorities with market and business objectives.
• Support client and partner engagement through insights, program evidence, thought leadership and strategic positioning.
• Contribute to ecosystem engagement and policy dialogue on financial health, responsible digitalization, access to finance and MSME resilience.
• Represent the Center in external meetings, working groups, conferences and events; prepare briefing materials, talking points and executive communications.
• Manage high-priority stakeholder engagements and ad hoc leadership requests with clear, data-driven analysis.
• Support communications and thought leadership efforts by identifying compelling stories and ensuring impact claims are evidence-based.
• Contribute Indonesian market insights to regional strategy, operational improvements, impact reporting and cross-market collaboration.

All About You
• Experience managing cross-functional programs, partnerships or projects, ideally in social impact, inclusive growth, sustainability, blended finance, international development or related fields.
• Proven ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders, navigate ambiguity and translate complex challenges into actionable solutions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience working with government, non-profit organizations, financial institutions, development partners, businesses and community organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage programs end-to-end, balancing strategy, operations, financial oversight, risk management and execution.
• Understanding of evolving customer and market needs, and the ability to translate trends into relevant partnerships and programs.
