About the role
As a Contracts Administrator, you'll support the administration of contracts and subcontracts through the full contract lifecycle. You'll help coordinate governance activities, maintain contract information, prepare reporting and analysis, and support the day-to-day activities that enable effective contract management and compliance.
Key accountabilities include :
· Provide contract administration support, including document management, correspondence, reporting and general administration activities
· Coordinate governance meetings, manage actions and support stakeholder communications.
· Maintain contract registers, reporting tools and procurement pipeline information.
· Support contract renewals, extensions, compliance activities and KPI reporting.
· Prepare reports and analysis to support business planning and decision-making.
· Maintain accurate contract, commercial and governance records.
· Support contract management activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
You're a highly organised administrator who enjoys working with information, building relationships and bringing structure to competing priorities. You are equally comfortable managing documentation and governance requirements as you are engaging with stakeholders and supporting business outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Experience in contract administration, project coordination, governance, or a similar administrative role.
· Strong administration, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and demanding timelines.
· Experience preparing reports, managing data, and maintaining accurate records, documentation and registers.
· Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret information and identify trends, issues or opportunities.
· Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple business areas.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate governance and compliance processes.
· Positive, proactive and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.

This position is covered by the V/Line Rail Operations and Administration Employees Agreement 2023 and offers a salary package from $94,897 inclusive of superannuation. A higher starting salary may be considered based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, and overall suitability for the role.
