Senior Staff Technical Program Manager - Manufacturing Technology & Readiness

This role is responsible for providing program leadership and strategic planning for technology development initiatives supporting future product roadmaps. The position drives end-to-end coordination of technology staging activities, slider modernization programs, and key mechanical process development projects to ensure readiness, execution excellence, and successful product introduction.

Serving as a critical link between technology development and manufacturing execution, ensuring alignment of development priorities, project timelines, resource plans, and business objectives. The successful candidate will lead complex cross-functional programs involving strong collaboration with Process Development, Operations, Industrial Engineering (IE), Automation Development, CMT, Equipment Engineering, Quality, and Program Management organizations to accelerate technology maturity and manufacturing readiness.

About the role - you will:

Program & Portfolio Leadership

- Lead strategic planning and execution of Technology Staging, Slider Modernization, and mechanical process development programs supporting future product roadmaps.

- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource strategies across multiple development initiatives.

- Drive program governance, execution reviews, and leadership communications to ensure alignment with business objectives.

- Manage interdependencies across projects and organizations to enable timely delivery of program commitments.

Technology Staging & Roadmap Execution

- Partner with technical leaders to align technology readiness plans with product roadmap requirements and manufacturing ramp schedules.

- Drive prioritization of development activities based on business impact, technology maturity, resource availability, and product needs.

- Ensure program execution supports successful qualification, readiness, and deployment of new technologies and capabilities.

- Coordinate roadmap alignment across process development, equipment, automation, materials, and manufacturing organizations.

Slider Modernization & Mechanical Development Projects

- Lead cross-functional execution of Slider Modernization initiatives aimed at advancing manufacturing capability, automation, process maturity, quality, and cost competitiveness.

- Coordinate development and implementation of key mechanical process development projects supporting strategic business objectives.

- Monitor program progress, identify barriers, and drive actions necessary to meet schedule, performance, and readiness targets.

- Facilitate decision-making and stakeholder alignment for complex technical and operational initiatives.

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Collaborate closely with Process Development, Operations, Industrial Engineering (IE), Automation Development, CMT, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Management organizations.

- Drive alignment across global and cross-site teams to achieve project objectives.

- Establish communication frameworks that enable effective execution, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.

- Ensure seamless coordination between technology development, operational readiness, and manufacturing implementation.

Risk & Issue Management

- Proactively identify program risks, resource gaps, schedule conflicts, and execution challenges.

- Lead risk mitigation planning and escalation processes to minimize business impact.

Performance Tracking & Executive Reporting

- Develop and maintain program dashboards, readiness metrics, and execution tracking systems.

- Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leadership regarding project status, risks, mitigation plans, and key decisions.

- Drive accountability through regular program reviews and milestone assessments.

- Support strategic planning activities through scenario analysis and portfolio-level reporting.

About you:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related technical discipline.

- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and strategic programs in manufacturing environments such as HDD, semiconductor, electronics, or similar industries.

- Proven expertise in project/program management, planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management.

- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, operational, and strategic considerations.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and executive leadership.

- Experience influencing and driving results across organizations without direct authority.

Your experience includes:

- Experience supporting technology staging, technology readiness, or product development programs.

- Prior involvement in product ramp planning and high-volume manufacturing transitions.

- Familiarity with process capability, yield improvement, cleanliness requirements, qualification readiness, and manufacturing performance metrics.

- Experience working with global and cross-site teams.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies, portfolio management practices, and advanced data analytics tools.

- PMP, PgMP, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

Korat, Thailand
