Redcastle Family School successfully opened its Special Resource Base (SRB) for children with autism in 2021, as part of our commitment to meeting the needs of children with SEND across Thetford and the surrounding area.

Our specialist provision comprises three dedicated classroom spaces, a sensory room, and multiple breakout areas. As we continue to grow and develop this exciting provision, we are looking for outstanding professionals to join us on the next stage of our journey.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced SEND practitioner who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant impact on outcomes for children while developing your own practice through nationally recognised professional development opportunities.

You will be highly motivated, confident in delivering high-quality education, and eager to contribute new ideas. A strong understanding of curriculum expectations across all age phases is essential.

- is able to plan and deliver appropriate, personalised learning experiences that meet a child's specific needs

- values teamwork and works collaboratively to overcome challenges
- has the ability to reflect upon and continually develop their classroom practice
- has an excellent understanding of both the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum.
