Our summer analyst programme is aimed at penultimate year students and is designed to provide a unique insight into global world of finance. The Global Clients Sales team within our Capital Markets group provides bespoke risk management and trading solutions to corporate, institutional, and government clients. We focus on building high-quality, long-term relationships with our clients, leveraging MUFG's global network, and offering clients and their subsidiaries support in a wide range of jurisdictions.

Global Client Sales

Our capital markets group is a world-leading provider of innovative debt and equity products. Our team of debt capital markets, derivatives, foreign exchange (FX) and credit specialists provide our clients with comprehensive solutions, using MUFG's global platform to maximise access to the international capital markets. Within the Risk Solutions Department, The Global Clients Sales team is  responsible for the development of our Foreign Exchange business across the target market, to act as a primary point of contact with all target clients for any Foreign Exchange related topic.

What to Expect

Our 10-week Summer Analyst programme is designed to provide you with a unique insight into investment banking. Starting off with a week of technical training, you’ll gain a deep understanding of our products and markets. Then armed with this knowledge, you will have the opportunity to join our Global Client Sales Team:

·         Gain in-depth understanding of different financial products and markets

·         Experience what it’s really like to work in global investment banking markets by gaining hands-on work experience

·         Build your networks both internally and externally by gaining exposure to employees from all levels of the organisation

As part of a select intake, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best professionals in the industry and will be allocated a buddy to ensure you have all the support you need to make the most of your internship experience.

Our Summer Analyst Programme serves as a pipeline into the full-time MUFG Analyst Programme, and successful interns may receive an offer to join the full-time Analyst Programme the following year.
