This is a remote role that reports specifically to the SCM Chemistry Reagents business and the OEM Chemistry Reagents group and is well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an OEM Buyer/Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Review demand plan in SAP to determine and clarify requirements, convert requisitions into purchase orders, transmit to suppliers, confirm acceptance, and ensure continuity of supply for assigned materials against SAP demand.

• Establish and monitor performance metrics focusing on supplier delivery and schedule adherence.

• Develop, implement and/or maintain analytical tools to facilitate leadership decision making.

• Act as system & process subject matter expert (SME) for other members of the SCM team.

• Communicate frequently with suppliers, internal partners, and demonstrate ownership of assigned scope as you manage material from the planning stage through delivery, receipt, inspection, defective return, and finally invoice/payment.

• Bring value to your team, the business, our customers, and their patients as you use your proficiency in problem-solving to identify and resolve potential threats to supply.

• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve overall supplier, process, and business performance.

• Demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving and exhibit proficiency for learning processes and systems.

• Familiar with material change management processes (Engineering, Source, etc.) and can add value in those areas to support continuity of supply.

• Comfortable analyzing and developing conclusions while working with large sets of data.

• Solid PC skills (MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

• Knowledge using Power BI or demonstrate a strong proficiency to learn.

• Able to communicate effectively to peers and management.

• Can influence others the team and business to prioritize process improvements.

• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership when working independently as well as within teams.

Work Experience

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• >3 Years experience in purchasing

• >3 Years Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.

• >2 Years of experience and proficiency in SAP Material requirements planning (MRP).

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

• Willing to travel up to 10% to OEM partners and on-site work at SCM locations

Benefits

This role can be based in Newark DE (US) or Swords in Dublin Ireland depending on the candidate. Comp and Bens will be applied depending on the entity for the new hire.
