Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join our Game Programming Team.

The role encompasses all aspects of the software lifecycle both for new projects and maintaining existing projects. You will be responsible for developing Web based solutions, interfacing with SQL databases, as well as programming desktop/standalone applications.

As a Software Developer you will be proficient in:

• C#.NET

• Entity Framework / EF Core

• React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS

• SQL Server

• ASP.NET Core Web APIs

• Source control with Git or TFS

The following skills are desirable but not essential:

• VBA

• WPS and Winforms

In order to be considered for this position you must possess the following:

• The capacity to work on your own initiative and with minimum supervision.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to apply different technologies to different challenges.

• A collaborative approach to your work, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• Effective communication skills, including being able to use appropriate media for

different audiences, in both technical and lay terms.

• The ability to work under reasonable work-related pressure and meet tight deadlines.

In return you will have the opportunity to gain great experience in a busy and friendly team, within a successful company. Furthermore, you will be given a competitive salary of £42,000 to £52,000 per annum as well as generous annual leave entitlement of 26 days per year plus bank holidays, and a pension scheme with a company match of up to 6% of pensionable salary.
