Manufacturing Engineering Lead

Key Responsibilities

- Process Design : Create detailed manufacturing routers, operation sheets, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Technical Review : Interpret complex 2D drawings, 3D CAD models, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Material & Tooling : Specify cutting tools, fixtures, and raw material requirements for CNC machining and fabrication.
- Special Processes : Plan sequences for cladding, welding, heat treatment, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Continuous Improvement : Apply Lean principles to reduce cycle times, eliminate waste, and minimize production costs.
- Quality Compliance : Ensure all processes align with API 6A, 16C, 17D, or relevant international industry standards

Work Experience

Required Qualifications

- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience : 10-15 years of experience in plant layout design, Lean Manufacturing, or industrial engineering. Experience within the Oil & Gas or heavy machinery sector is preferred. Candidate must have hands on shop floor experience in the Manufacturing industry.

- Software Skills : Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Creo, or NX) and ERP/MRP systems (SAP or Oracle).
- Machining Knowledge : Deep understanding of multi-axis CNC turning, milling, and heavy fabrication techniques.
- Expertise : Strong grasp of metallurgy, welding codes (ASME Section IX), and NDT methods (UT, PT, MT)
