Require in depth expertise in the following functional areas. </p></div><div><div><p>  </p></div><div><p>Data Platform &amp; Engineering: </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Designing and implementing modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs and Stream Analytics. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Lakehouse and medallion architecture, including Delta and Parquet formats. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Data modelling, query optimization and performance tuning. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Migrating and modernizing legacy data warehouses and on-premises data estates to Azure. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Proficiency in SQL, Python and PySpark. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Bicep or Terraform). </p></li></ul></div><div><p>  </p></div><div><p>AI &amp; Machine Learning: </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Designing and delivering generative AI solutions with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and agentic patterns, including retrieval augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering and orchestration frameworks. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Azure Machine Learning for model development, deployment and MLOps. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence and Cognitive Services. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Evaluation, grounding and Responsible AI practices. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Copilot and Copilot Studio extensibility. </p></li></ul></div><div><p>  </p></div><div><p>Governance, Security &amp; Analytics: </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Data governance, lineage and cataloguing with Microsoft Purview. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Securing data and AI workloads using Microsoft Entra ID, private networking, Azure Key Vault, RBAC and encryption. </p></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Power BI semantic models and enterprise reporting. </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>Cost management and platform optimization. </p></li></ul></div><div><p>  </p></div><div><p>We would also expect you to be able to pass the following Certifications in the first 12 months of employment with us, if you do not already hold them: </p></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>DP-900: Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>DP-700: Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>AI-102: Microsoft Azure AI Engineer Associate </p></li></ul></div><div><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li><p>DP-600: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate </p></li></ul></div><div><p>  </p></div><div><p>  </p></div><div> </div></div><div><div><p> </p></div></div> <br><p>This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.</p><br><hr><br><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
