About this role

About the role

Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG) is the world leader in online travel and related services, supporting the entire travel journey. Our platforms, including Booking.com, Priceline, and Agoda, use advanced technology, AI, and machine learning to simplify and personalize travel for consumers and partners in more than 220 countries and territories. Our mission is to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

The Partnerships team drives BKNG’s B2B and B2B2C growth through strategic distribution, business development, and commercial partnerships. In North America, the team manages a diverse portfolio of demand partners across airlines, online travel companies, banks and fintechs, technology platforms, loyalty programs, and other enterprise businesses.

These partnerships help extend the reach of BKNG’s travel products through APIs, branded solutions, template solutions, and other distribution models. The team is responsible for developing, launching, and growing partnerships that generate sustainable BKNG transactions, revenue, margin, and partner and traveler value.

We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of complex, high-value strategic partners. This person will combine commercial judgment, analytical rigor, partner management, and cross-functional leadership to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver measurable business results.

What you’ll do

- Own the end-to-end Account Management strategy for a portfolio of complex B2B and B2B2C partners, from onboarding and launch through ongoing optimization and long-term growth.
- Develop and execute account plans that increase partner production, transactions, revenue, margin, product adoption, and sustainable traveler growth.
- Lead recurring, data-driven assessments of partner health and performance. Identify risks, growth opportunities, and clear actions to improve results.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organizations and lead quarterly business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
- Manage global, multi-market, or otherwise complex partners that require coordination across regions, business models, products, and internal teams.
- Expand partner adoption of Connected Trip products, including accommodations, flights, rental cars, ground transportation, activities, and rides.
- Develop a strong understanding of BKNG’s products, integration models, commercial tools, and partner solutions in order to optimize performance and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Create commercially creative partnership structures and customized solutions, including opportunities that fall outside standard models.
- Use market trends, competitive intelligence, partner data, and technology developments to develop insights, business cases, and pragmatic recommendations.
- Identify growth blockers and work with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to resolve them.
- Influence internal teams and partner stakeholders without direct authority, ensuring that agreed actions are prioritized and delivered.
- Represent the North America region in cross-functional or company-wide initiatives, such as product, analytics, AI, Salesforce, or other strategic programs.
- Collaborate across BKNG brands and functions to identify broader partnership opportunities and support third-party distribution initiatives.
- Contribute to team capability building by sharing partner, market, product, and commercial insights with colleagues.

What you’ll bring

- 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, partnerships, business development, sales, or a related commercial role; experience in e-commerce, travel technology, fintech, loyalty, airlines, or online travel is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise partnerships and delivering measurable commercial growth.
- Strong commercial judgment, with the ability to develop partnership strategies, evaluate trade-offs, and negotiate or recommend customized solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear insights, priorities, and actions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and coordinating contributions from Product, Engineering, Analytics, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment while maintaining focus on priorities and outcomes.
- A proactive, curious, and ownership-oriented approach, with the judgment to work independently and the collaboration skills to bring others along.
- Ability to balance partner needs with BKNG’s commercial objectives, customer experience standards, and long-term business interests.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or other relevant fields; Master’s degree preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for partner meetings, internal collaboration, industry events, and market visits. Travel may be up to 35%, with occasional periods of higher travel based on business needs.
- Ability to work within a reasonable commuting distance of the assigned office location.
