Job Description:

PAY RANGE: $109,000 - $153,000

SCOPE: Oversees the daily operations at Imaging sites of service. Coordinates staff training, scheduling and patient-flow activities in addition to overseeing and performing technical scanning functions. Supports and adheres to the Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Performs , Radioligand Therapy, Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scan procedures to include injection of radiopharmaceutical, set- up of protocol, reconstruction and development and archival of images, coordination of image on report function, and management of clinical database information.
- Coordination with site front office and business office activities to ensure smooth workflow.
- Oversee and coordinate ACR accreditation and Quality Control of imaging equipment.- Oversee and coordinate routine maintenance and service of imaging equipment
- Develops and implements imaging policy manual and procedure protocols. Ensures compliance with state licensing organizations and regulatory agencies. Coordinates equipment maintenance.
- Check Monthly and Daily PET QC logs, be sure they are logged in NMIS
- Complete SMPTE Pattern Checklist for AMC Reading CPU, Mobile and AMC PET CPU
- Ensure Quarterly QC is completed and logged in NMIS (3D WC and Linearity)
- Radiology Group Liaison
- Staff Hiring,onboarding, PTO, schedules, timecards and evaluations
- Weekly and monthly department reporting and stats, including NMIS Monthly reports for Mobile and AMC PET
- Ensures accuracy of patient record keeping, timely billing, and communication with Radiology groups.
- Supervises technical staff at all imaging sites

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Nuclear Medicine technical experience required. CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or A.R.R.T. (N) required.
ARRT Certification for either Xray or CT, or CT certification from NMTCB.

Minimum five years’ experience in Nuclear Medical Technology, including at least three years directly related experience in PET Technology. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Requires ability to reach above shoulder height. Requires sitting/standing for extensive periods of time. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
