Job Title: Level 4 – Maintenance Multi Skilled

Job Summary

The Level 4 – Maintenance Multi Skilled is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems within an industrial environment.

Responsibility

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues of the production equipment to minimize downtime.

- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules.

- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensure all systems are properly integrated and functional.

- Repair and replace defective parts, such as bearings, gears, belts and motors.

- Conduct precision alignments and adjustments on machinery.

- Execute mechanical rebuilds of the machinery and components.

- Troubleshoot, repair and replace PLCs (Allen Bradley PLC, Fanuc / Siemens CNC controls) and other PC-based systems

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.

- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and schematics.

- Close work orders using maintenance tracking system.

Academic/Educational Requirements

- High school diploma or qualification.

- Certificate of Qualification for both Industrial Electrician 442A and Industrial Mechanic Millwright 433A.

Required Skills/Experience

- Fully capable of Level 3 – Maintenance Fully Skilled and Electrician responsibilities.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
