About this role
Roles & Responsibilities: -
● System Maintenance and Support: Troubleshooting hardware/software, performing updates, monitoring system performance.
● Network Management: Configuring network devices, resolving connectivity issues, maintaining VPNs and security protocols.
● User Support: Addressing technical queries, onboarding users, educating on IT policies.
● Asset Management: Managing IT inventory, handling procurement and disposal, maintaining updated records.
● Documentation and Reporting: Record IT processes, create user guides, and generate system performance reports.
● Project Assistance: Support IT projects, system upgrades, and provide feedback in strategy discussions.
Requirements
Preferred Skills:-
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
● Prior experience or knowledge in desktop support or a similar role is preferred.
● Strong understanding of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
● Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN.
● Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Basic understanding of IT assets, software, and hardware management.
● Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
