Job Purpose

Provide overall leadership to Engineering & Maintenance across 4 factories and 9 plants, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations, while building a strong, competent and high-performing engineering team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership to Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and Instrumentation functions
- Establish and drive common engineering, maintenance and reliability standards across all 9 plants.
- Drive equipment reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, plant availability and reduction of breakdowns and repeat failures; monitor MTBF, MTTR and maintenance KPIs.
- Provide technical leadership for critical breakdowns, major shutdowns, CAPEX projects, modifications, debottlenecking and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Drive maintenance cost optimisation, energy efficiency and effective asset life-cycle management.
- Ensure compliance with ISO systems, Responsible Care, statutory requirements, EHS and process safety standards across all plants.
- Independently lead / facilitate HAZOP, HIRA, MOC and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) for new projects, modifications and plant changes, including effective closure of recommendations.
- Ensure engineering and maintenance activities are aligned with process safety and risk management requirements.
- Build a high-performing team through people development, coaching, competency building, performance management, succession planning and talent development.
- Establish competency standards and training plans for Engineering & Maintenance teams and promote knowledge sharing across factories.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, ownership, continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
- Standardise and replicate engineering best practices across the 4 factories and 9 plants.
- Collaborate with Factory Heads, Production, EHS, Quality, Projects, Procurement and Corporate functions to deliver business priorities.

Educational Qualification:

- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.

Work Experience

Experience:

· 10+ years of experience in manufacturing excellence

· Experience in FMCG / Chemical manufacturing

· Proven leadership experience in Manufacturing Excellence, CAPEX, and transformation
