Job Title : Software Automation Test Engineer

Job Description Summary
We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer who will help us further develop and maintain our test automation framework.

The framework is already actively developed and has a strong technical foundation. We are looking for someone who can bring additional experience, ideas and engineering perspective to the area and work closely with the current owner to drive it further.

What we are looking for:

- Strong experience in test automation and automation framework development
- Strong C# / .NET skills
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar modern browser automation frameworks
- Good experience with API and integration testing
- Good understanding of test architecture and different testing levels — Unit/Integration, Endpoint/API, Frontend and E2E
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience with BDD and data-driven testing
- Ability to work with complex systems, configurations, test environments and test data
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
- AI-oriented mindset — practical experience with AI-assisted development and genuine interest in exploring how AI can improve test automation, maintenance, failure analysis and testing workflows
- Strong ownership and initiative — not only implementing requested tests, but identifying problems, proposing improvements and following them through
- Curiosity and willingness to challenge existing approaches constructively
- Comfortable with technically challenging problems and areas where the solution is not yet obvious
- Good collaboration skills — able to work closely with the current framework owner, developers and other engineers

Preferred Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, IT, Physics, or related fields (IT preferred).
- At least 4 years of experience in QA, with 2+ years in test automation.
- At least 2 years of experience testing web or desktop applications.

Required Skills

Technical Skills:

- Programming skills in any object-oriented language and a willingness to switch to C#.
- Knowledge of common principles of testing and test automation framework design.
- Familiarity with Playwright or Cypress for C# UI automation (optional).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (optional).

Soft Skills:

- Strong problem-solving and bug-identification skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues.
- Results-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
- Clear, structured communication skills.
- Team player with system thinking and an Agile/Scrum mindset.

Language Skills:

- English: Upper-intermediate level or higher.
