Job Summary:
The Supervisor provides leadership, supervision and coordination of day-to-day activities with Imaging Department. The Supervisor Imaging maintains and coordinates all aspects of the clinical, fiscal, operational, and human resource management within Imaging Department. The Supervisor collaborates with the Imaging Department Manager in developing services rendered by the department and maintains clinic-specific standards of practice based on current literature and professional standards of practice. Provides regular in-person support to Imaging Department. The Supervisor may be delegated responsibilities in the absence of the Imaging Department Manager. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
Demonstrated knowledge in operations and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelor’s degree in health science, Health Administration, or related field is required. Four years of prior healthcare management/supervisory experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
TRAINING DESCRIPTION:
Epic and PACS training upon hire.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Ability to use standard office equipment including calculator, copy machine, computer terminal, printer and facsimile machine. Basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook and other Windows based programs are a plus. Travel to and from all locations where assigned modality equipment and staff are located along with various meeting requirements. Ability to use general medical equipment including first aid equipment. Ability to use patient mobility devices including patient carts, wheelchairs, and patient lifting devices. Highly effective written and oral communication skills. Read, write, high degree of aptitude and highly effective interpersonal skills.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:
ARDMS, ARRT or NMTCB is required.
