Position Summary
FlexStaff is seeking an Intake Navigator III to support Medicare and Medicaid eligibility, enrollment, and entitlement processes for our client, a non-profit organization that provides home healthcare services to the elderly, disabled and chronically ill in the New York metropolitan area . This role will handle paperwork, resolve eligibility issues, assist with reporting, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage Medicare/Medicaid eligibility and entitlement issues
- Review and upload enrollment paperwork
- Work with Social Work, Finance, and other departments
- Verify eligibility in systems such as E-Paces and MARX
- Resolve disenrollment, denials, appeals, and Medicaid loss issues
- Prepare reports and support compliance efforts
- Liaise with agencies such as HRA, LDSS, NYSDOH, and CMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–3 years of experience with Medicaid, Medicare, MLTC, MAP, D-SNP, PACE, or related social services/government work
- Strong knowledge of eligibility and entitlement rules
- Excellent communication, organization, and computer skills
- Experience with Care Compass, E-Paces, MARX, or Tableau preferred
