About Our Family

We are an entrepreneurial couple navigating the early months of parenthood with our first child. Our home is intentional, and we have established rhythms, preferences, and ways of doing things that reflect how we live and work. We are looking for someone who can learn how we operate, create thoughtful organizational systems where needed, and bring structure and consistency to the many details of daily life. This support will allow us to be fully present for our family while continuing to give our work the attention it requires.

We are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in the people we welcome into our home, while also valuing professionalism, discretion, and a high standard of follow-through. We communicate directly, move quickly, and appreciate someone who can do the same while bringing sound judgment and a calm, collaborative presence. We value openness, tolerance, and respect for others, and we love to travel and think ambitiously about the future. We are looking for someone who wants to grow alongside our family as our child develops and our needs evolve.

At this stage, the role will provide meaningful support with infant/childcare while helping establish and maintain the systems that keep our household running smoothly. As our child grows and one parent returns to a more demanding professional schedule, the role will evolve alongside our family, creating an opportunity for the right person to take on increasingly broad household and family-management responsibilities.

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For

You are an experienced, polished professional who brings a thoughtful combination of infant/childcare and household management experience. You genuinely enjoy caring for infants/children and are invested in our child’s development, while also having the initiative and organizational skill to create systems, manage the details of daily life, and keep the household moving. You understand that the needs of the role will vary from day to day, from providing engaged care while a parent works to managing meals and groceries, coordinating household logistics, or taking ownership of a project from start to finish.

You are warm and personable while understanding the importance of professionalism, discretion, and reading the room. You communicate clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and welcome candid feedback without taking it personally. You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment, learn quickly, retain direction, and know how to manage up by surfacing questions or roadblocks before they become issues. You take pride in facilitating other people’s success and are looking to grow with a family over time, taking on broader household and family-management responsibilities as their needs evolve.
