About this role

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Serves as the central administrator for data collection within the program. This includes annual and benchmark assessment data for students, new student evaluation results, and data collection, management and reporting associated with Title III federal grant requirements, and other as assigned by the Director.
2. Creates data tracking and analysis processes in order to fully utilize the information being made available to the program through assessments. Develops processes for reporting data in a user friendly and accurate format.
3. Creates invitations and advertising for services and professional development offered by the program and explores avenues for successful marketing efforts.
4. Handles all aspects of communication, registration, and production of professional development sessions.
5. Processes, records, and organizes all incoming assessment information and prepares all correspondence to school districts containing this information. Improves internal processes for the storage, organization, and preparation of this information.
6. Collaborates with the ESL teaching staff on the assessment (WIDA Screener, ACCESS, and Las Links) of students and the submission of assessment data.
7. Establishes and maintains a tracking system for students exiting the program and entering into their monitoring period.
8. Assists with the annual realignment process, assists and coordinates the procedures involving on-going data collection for student assessment and recordkeeping for enrolled students.
9. Assists Program Director with maintaining current knowledge of developments at the state and federal levels to ensure program compliance and appropriate district correspondence. Monitors enrollment trends, and reviews emerging literature and developments at the state and national levels to develop appropriate program responses.
10. Serves as the primary contact for translation services as purchased through the AIU K-12 ESL Program.
11. Supports the program’s administrative team with projects and initiatives as directed.
12. Demonstrates integrity, dependability, sound judgment, attention to detail and resourcefulness to support the program, its mission and goals to and represent the program with a customer service mindset.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, required. Advanced degree preferred.
2. Minimum of five (5) years successful teaching experience required.
3. Program level administration experience and experience/certification in the teaching of English Language Learners (ELLs) preferred.
4. Pennsylvania supervisory certification and/or K-12 principal certification preferred.

5. Knowledge of data and assessment relative to education in Pennsylvania and specifically to English Learners required.
6. Very strong office technology skills required; including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint; as well as a robust familiarity of online resources and assessments.
7. Ability and experience in working as a member of a team required.
8. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail required.
9. Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
Additional Requirements:
1. Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (Must be dated within 1 year of hire date).
2. School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
