Location: Alpharetta, GA (Local Candidates Only) Duration: 1+ Year Contract Pay Rate: $30-$38/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Hours: Full-Time with Overtime Pay Available Certification Required: OSHA 30

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support construction projects in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive field construction experience, preferably as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, General Contractor representative, or Owner's Representative . This role requires strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control, safety management, scheduling, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure work is executed according to project requirements.
- Evaluate construction schedules, develop 3-week look-ahead schedules, and facilitate whiteboard planning meetings to identify constraints and drive project progress.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to assign responsibilities and escalate issues to the Project Leader when necessary.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections, including: Concrete pre-pour inspections
- Framing inspections
- Electrical rough-in inspections
- Fire caulking inspections
- Structural inspections
- Commissioning support activities, including Kanban processes

- Conduct constructability reviews to identify conflicts, ambiguities, and quality concerns within project drawings and specifications.
- Provide daily construction reports and progress updates.
- Create visual project progress exhibits and reporting dashboards using Bluebeam and Procore.
- Maintain strong field safety oversight and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

- OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
- Extensive construction experience in a field leadership role
- Previous experience as a Superintendent, Construction Manager, General Contractor representative, or Owner's Representative preferred

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Alpharetta, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
