Purpose

The safe and efficient operation of company vehicles for the transportation and unloading of company materials and products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- To maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
- To operate company vehicles, in accordance with Highway Law,
- To transport finished goods to meet customer requirements
- To ensure the safe handling, transportation, stacking and storage of Company materials and products, in accordance with Highways Law.
- To ensure the vehicle is always in good working order and that routine maintenance is carried
- Follow local site rules, assist the customer with the safe unloading of the order delivered.
- To ensure the safety of members of the public during the unloading of trailers
- To maintain records accurately.
- To assist the Despatch and HGV maintenance departments as and when required.
- To report all relevant information to the Operations Manager.

The Person

- Hold a valid, current, class 1 license.
- Significant Class 1 experience delivering multi-drop loads
- Knowledge of the road network of all of Northern Ireland & Ireland .
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety aspects when off loading goods
- Fluent in English Written and Spoken

Hours Of Work

44 hours per week Monday to Friday
