We are seeking 2 skilled and experienced IT Business Consultants / future employees to partner with Pharma Commercial, Brand, Field Force, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs teams in translating business priorities into impactful data and analytics solutions. In this pivotal role, you will drive stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, business process understanding, analytics opportunity identification, and value realization across commercial data initiatives.

This role is located in our Ridgefield, CT campus.
Compensation Data
The base salary range for this position is $128,000 to $248,400. The position may be eligible for a role specific discretionary bonus, relocation, and/or other compensation elements. We continuously review market data and may adjust salary ranges as needed in the future. Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Pharma Commercial, Brand, Field Force, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs teams to translate business objectives into high-value data and analytics opportunities.
- Engage senior stakeholders, including Brand Directors, Commercial Excellence leaders, Sales Leadership, and Franchise Heads, to understand priorities, pain points, decisions, and expected business outcomes.
- Lead consultative workshops and discovery sessions to define reporting, analytics, insights, process optimization, and data product opportunities across commercial business functions.
- Apply strong pharmaceutical commercial knowledge across field force effectiveness, targeting, segmentation, territory alignment, call planning, omnichannel engagement, patient journey analytics, market access, and brand performance measurement.
Guide brand teams on launch readiness, lifecycle management, competitive assessment, market expansion, customer engagement, and performance tracking through actionable data-driven recommendations.
- Leverage pharmaceutical data assets such as IQVIA, Veeva CRM, Veeva OpenData, Rx, claims, specialty pharmacy, patient, HCP, HCO, and other commercial data sources to create measurable business value.
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, KPIs, data definitions, business rules, and solution recommendations aligned to business value and feasibility.
- Differentiate true business needs from proposed solutions, preferences, or symptoms, and help stakeholders prioritize scope based on value, risk, urgency, dependency, and delivery complexity.
- Partner with Data Management and Data Governance teams to define ownership, master data requirements, metadata, lineage, data quality standards, access, retention, stewardship, and issue-resolution processes.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from BRD and FRD through solution design, development, testing, deployment, business acceptance, and post-launch stabilization.
- Drive alignment across business, technology, data, and delivery teams through decision discussions, prioritization forums, roadmap planning, risk reviews, executive updates, and release readiness activities.
- Monitor delivered capabilities for adoption, data trust, usability, service performance, business value realization, self-service enablement, automation, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
AD IT Lead Business Consultant:
Bachelor's and/or /Masters´ degree (or equivalent); progressive IT and business experience of five (5) to ten (10) years is preferred.
IT Business Consultant II:
Bachelors/Master degree (or equivalent); progressive IT and business experience of 2-7 years is preferred.
Additional Experience / Expertise:
- Min 5yrs of Pharma/Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across business and IT organizations is key for this role.
- Strong business consulting, requirements management, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leading complex Data & Analytics initiatives supporting pharmaceutical commercial organizations is key for this role.
- Knowledge of data management, and knowledge of concepts ETL/ELT tools concepts.
- Experience / knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems, including PostgreSQL, MySQL and AWS experience with the ability to evaluate cloud applications
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial business processes. Examples include; sales operations, brand strategy, launch excellence, field force effectiveness, omnichannel engagement, and customer analytics.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data ecosystems including IQVIA, Veeva CRM, Veeva OpenData, claims, patient, provider, specialty pharmacy, and master data domains .
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
