Since 1948, Fisherman’s Market has been connecting customers with some of the best seafood Nova Scotia has to offer. We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Store Manager to lead our established Bedford location.

This is an opportunity for a strong people leader who takes pride in developing employees, maintaining high standards and creating an exceptional customer experience. You’ll lead a well-established store with a loyal customer base while continuing to strengthen its team, operations and performance.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing, engaged team.

- Deliver consistently exceptional customer service and strengthen customer loyalty.

- Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, labour, inventory and financial performance.

- Maintain high standards for merchandising, product presentation, cleanliness, food safety and quality.

- Build employee product knowledge and confidence in providing knowledgeable, consultative service.

- Monitor performance and customer feedback and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

- Support promotions and initiatives that increase customer engagement.

- Foster a positive, respectful and accountable workplace culture.

- Lead by example with a hands-on, team-focused approach.

What You Bring

- Management experience in retail, food service, hospitality, specialty food or another customer-focused environment.

- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop employees.

- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

- A passion for customer service and team development.

- The ability to balance people leadership with strong operational execution.

- A positive, accountable and hands-on leadership style.

Seafood experience is an asset, but strong leadership and a passion for exceptional customer experiences are what matter most.
