IT Coordinator / Scrum Master

Within the Enterprise Solutions department, the IT Coordinator / Scrum Master supports multidisciplinary delivery teams in the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of their activities.

The incumbent acts as a facilitator and operational coordination point between developers, analysts, architects, Product Owners, project managers, and stakeholders to help ensure efficient and predictable delivery of enterprise solutions. They combine a strong understanding of Agile delivery practices with hands-on experience coordinating work, managing dependencies, facilitating team collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Under the guidance of delivery and technology leadership, the IT Coordinator / Scrum Master helps teams maintain visibility into priorities, commitments, risks, and progress while fostering accountability and team effectiveness. The role requires a high degree of autonomy and influence but does not include people management responsibilities, final business prioritization decisions, solution architecture ownership, technical leadership, or full project management accountability.
What you will do

• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders to coordinate work, priorities, dependencies, and commitments.
• Support sprint planning, estimation, capacity management, and delivery tracking activities.
• Maintain visibility on delivery progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and key milestones.
• Ensure Jira and other delivery management tools contain accurate and up-to-date information.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Promote Agile best practices and support teams in improving delivery effectiveness and ways of working.
• Remove or help resolve delivery obstacles and escalate issues that require leadership intervention.
• Coordinate activities required to support releases and operational delivery objectives.
• Monitor and communicate delivery metrics, status updates, risks, and action items to stakeholders.
• Foster collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Support onboarding of new team members and contribute to the adoption of consistent delivery practices.

This role could be for you if you have

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Agile delivery, project coordination, Scrum Master, or a similar role.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams delivering digital products, applications, or enterprise solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar tools for backlog, sprint, workflow, and delivery management.
• Experience managing priorities, dependencies, and competing deliverables in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAFe, Agile certifications, or Project Management certifications (an asset).
• Experience in the construction industry or with enterprise platforms (an asset).
