Your impact

As Senior Internal Communications Specialist, you'll be the connective tissue between executive leadership, the People team, and regional hubs across Europe. Your job is to keep our people, progressively over 1,500 employees, aligned, engaged, and genuinely connected to Mollie's fintech strategy. That means building transparent, high impact internal channels that hold up in a hybrid environment and keep pace with a company that never sits still.

Your work sits close to the business, not on the sidelines of it. Over the next 18 to 24 months, you'll communicate and distribute the narrative behind a major integration, bringing distinct cultures and teams together into one cohesive workforce. You'll work directly with executive management board members, help them tell strategic stories with clarity, and make sure messaging holds together across multiple European hubs, even as priorities shift fast.

You'll also bring a sharp eye for using AI to scale and enhance how communication gets done, helping leaders work smarter and freeing up time for the messaging that really needs a human touch. It's a rare chance to make internal comms work directly move the business forward, with high visibility and real ownership from day one.

What you'll ship

- Communication plans for a range of employee and business initiatives across Mollie
- An internal editorial calendar and clear governance for our Slack channels
- End to end production of monthly and quarterly All Hands meetings, from executive deck creation and speaker prep to live Q&A moderation and post event reviews
- Strategic ghostwriting for announcements, change management narratives, and sensitive organisational updates from executive management board members
- Data driven engagement and sentiment dashboards, tracking communication reach, platform analytics, pulse survey insights, and eNPS impact, with clear recommendations for leadership
- A transparent, high energy culture that holds up as we scale
- Clearer messaging across HR/People, product engineering, commercial teams, and executive leadership, with fewer silos in between

What you'll bring

- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee experience, or corporate comms within a high growth tech or fintech environment
- Outstanding native or near-native English writing and editing skills, with advanced copywriting ability to adopt distinct voices for executive management board members and turn complex business and fintech strategies into clear, engaging narratives
- A proven track record partnering directly with executive management board members on sensitive change management communications, with mastery of structured change methodologies for post-merger integrations, culture unification, and organisational restructuring
- Hands-on experience with digital workplace tools such as Slack, Notion, intranet platforms, and survey tools, alongside solid data analytics skills
- Excellent understanding and confidence using AI to enhance and scale your work
- A fintech or payments sector background, lightweight visual design skills (Figma, Canva, Photoshop), or basic web and email HTML formatting are a bonus, useful for building polished Slack banners, newsletter headers, deck visuals, or tweaking intranet layouts
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at once, staying organised and on top of priorities without losing momentum
