JOB SUMMARY
YDrive Drivers are responsible for taking passengers to and from their hotels, homes, workplaces, airports, or anywhere requested. They offer point-to-point services and, in some cases, also sight-seeing trips around the city and different attractions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Passenger Transport ensuring to:
Assess the vehicle’s condition prior to the trip and provide an inspection report
- Ensure that the vehicle is equipped with necessary amenities and a clean status
- Opening doors for the passengers and greeting them pleasantly
- Help passengers to get in and out of the car and carry luggage to their entrance
- Ensure all documents are signed by the passenger
- Keeping a record of trip data and providing it to the relevant persons responsible for billing
- Accept trips and update their status via driver app
- Drive with caution to always provide a safe trip to clients and to avoid any potential accident or incident
- Be present at work at least 15mins before the scheduled shift
- Comply with the company’s journey management and fatigue management policies.
- Always provide concise and effective communication with CSRs and supervisors whether verbal or written to ensure the correct messages have been conveyed
- To adhere to standards, guidelines, legislation, and procedures set to ensure the safety and wellbeing to all guests and fellow employees.
- Report all incidents, vehicle accidents, customer service issues etc are reported to the CSR on return to base or asap.
- Go the extra mile when necessary to ensure customer’s needs are met
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Local Driver Permit
- To refrain from using behaviour that is abusive, intimidating or patronizing
- Ability to drive long distances across the country and over various types of terrain
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts that run on a 24-hour schedule
- Ensure attendance and punctuality rate is 95% and above
- Ability to lift items 50lbs and over
- High degree of professionalism
- Must be flexible and adaptive to change
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills
