In this role, you will lead and support project engineering execution compressor station and facility projects across the full lifecycle, typically ranging from $1MM to $50MM in capital scope. You will manage engineering deliverables and guide design progression through key milestone phases, including 30%, 60%, and 90% design reviews.

You will coordinate multi-discipline engineering efforts across mechanical, civil, and structural systems, while also overseeing third-party engineering firms to ensure design quality, regulatory compliance, and accountability for deliverables.

Working closely with project managers, you will help execute project plans by aligning delivery strategy, budgets, and resource planning. You will actively identify and mitigate engineering risks, resolve design gaps, and support procurement efforts by developing material requisitions and ensuring equipment aligns with project requirements.

Your role will involve executing engineering design across a range of capital projects—from maintenance-related work to larger-scale asset builds—while applying technical expertise and sound engineering judgment to solve complex challenges and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

- Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment
- May supervise the work of others
- Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects
- Prepares and delivers presentations
- Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services
- Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs
- Champions processes, procedures and safety standards
- Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field from an ABET accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; and a minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area
- Preferred: Project Management experience

Additional Responsibilities :

- Develops engineering execution strategies to meet overall project objectives; work with internal partners on the management of quality control and project timeline
- Coordinates with the project team and communicates project drivers; develops approaches to accommodate concerns
- Partners with contractors and project teams to ensure that technical aspects of the project meet expectations, quality standards, and execution strategy; identifies and implements technical improvements
- Addresses the technical content of purchase orders to ensure they contain accurate technical and commercial terms
- Handles internal resources to ensure Requests For Information are promptly resolved
- Develops commissioning plans, closes projects, and ensures accurate documentation of files, records, databases, and drawings to meet regulatory requirements
- Provides technical expertise and recommendations during project standards reviews

Additional Requirements:

- Possesses advanced knowledge of engineering workflows, project life cycles, and design principles, including applicable design guides and standards across various engineering disciplines
- Demonstrates proficiency in interpreting engineering deliverables and applying construction and constructability practices and principles
- Preferred: Understands project controls and estimating processes and procedures
- Preferred: Excels in procurement and contract administration, demonstrating strong business
